Olympic venues in China are just beautiful. Organic was what Keyla used to describe the fly-over. I would have to agree. Damn HD is sweet! #
Backyard badminton against the Panamanian Tigress, which I won (I am sure Keyla will protest), now it is cheese cake and the Olympics. #
Surfing the web with the Olympics providing background noise is relaxing. Will check Redmine before I go to bed for any code updates. #
About to head out to meet Katalina’s teacher. She is so excited to join her big brother at his school this year. So am I. #
Just got back from kinder-camp for my little girl. She is all set for her first day next week. Tonight we will do the same for Ruben. #
Sweet! Our application is in testers’ hands. Now I am freed up to make a b2evolution blog become wordpress aware. This will be fun! #
Wrapping up the work day with a meeting of my tech fellows. Very productive today. EC2 is sweet! All my apps will go there. #
Fedora 9 is not that bad. Yum installs works like a champ. Works great for LAMP using yum, not so for RoR. Best to use wget for Rails. #

Little Ruben will be in the portables as our school grows. He is excited, we wish he could still be in the main building. #

Wednesday is here, halfway through the week! Kids are back in the office and I am back to tracking Redmine. Wow, some things never change. #
Heading into another Marratech meeting. Marratech is my company’s life-line. Great tool, hope Google does not kill it. #

Two devs one application and kids watching Super Mario cartoons, can there be any better way to do application development? I think not! #

Lunch in Georgetown sure does not give many options if you want something quick. A streetside hotdog would be great. #

Another work day is about to start. Kiddos busy on school work in prep for school next week. It has been fun having the kids around. #

Mowed the lawn capped another relaxing weekend. Hopefully the ’sometime island’ at Lake Travis will shrink from the rains we are getting now #
Work week is new and fresh. The sky is gray and the kids are with me at work. Must check the SVN repo for new code. It should be a good day. #
Task list has been created, work delegated. Kiddos in the office quietly working on homework. Feel accomplished but still want more to do. #
One developer working wonders for a great startup, another in limbo as we sort out his employment status. Symbolism? It is pouring outside. #
LISD is opening five new campuses this fall and will have four more next year. Our community is growing fast. IT at LISD must be bleeding. #

About to end another weekday by tucking in the kiddos and pick up around the house. Trying though to get motivated on blogging again. #
Sold a desk Keyla put on Craigslist.org. That makes it four items sold through Craigslist. It is becoming the new ‘yard sale’ #
Fighting the crowds at the mall for the tax-free back to school sale. It is like Christmas only worse. #
The food court is the most amazing display of organize chaos I ever seen. #
At target & saw the casio fx-115es calculator which allows for textbook display & permitted on SAT. kids today got it easy. #
So many kids ever so excited about school. So much energy that I almost feel like going to school with them. #
