How do you handle stress?
I was part of a discussion at work yesterday on how we should publicize our expertise. Not through direct marketing, but through social networking methods. Many people at the group suggested that they should start a blog. I personally think this is a bad idea, yeah ironic considering this post is COMING from a blog. The real issue here is not to create yet another blog that really has no purpose or reason for the world to come to (like this one) but rather there is a need to establish an online identity that will allow others to understand your perceived expertise. Keyla and I sat in awe at what we saw on PBS tonight. I am at lost with words…
Make time and check out the Independent Lens edition of Banished. On a side note, Independent Lens is by far the greatest series on TV today. This is why PBS still makes sense regardless of the political angle and the onslaught of NPR. Awareness is a sleepy state for most Americans. It is comforting to know that there is still a vehicle to shake the comfortable sleepy state we live in and challenge us to think differently.
